First Lesson covered… “The New Life” (Salvation)
Focus Scripture Eph.2:8-9

Some Basic Understanding Points:
1. God is eternal, Everlasting, Dateless and Timeless…
2. Whenever God forms something, He will fill it
3. God desires to be in relationship with humanity

Accepting Christ as our Savior begins an eternal relationship with God. Jesus speaks about leaving earth, but will send a Comforter (Holy Spirit) to teach us all things and bring all things to our remembrance.

The human spirit has two natures to deal with each day (spiritual, carnal)
These two nature are at war with each other. Rom. 7:21 tells us “…when I would do good, evil is present with me.”

Salvation is not based on joining a church, or being baptized, or on feelings.
The four steps of Salvation can be covered in the following Scriptures:
Step 1 – Rom 3:23;
Step 2 – Rom. 6:23; Rev.20:14 and John 3:16
Step 3 – Rom 5:8; Isa. 53; I Cor. 15:3-4
Step 4 – Rom 10:9

Of course there are more supporting verses, but these will give you the foundation.
Remember this TRUTH: GOD CANNOT LIE, WHAT HE PROMISE HE MUST DO.
